My entry for the #tegncontest by the really cool Even Mehl Amundsen! There is also a small story to go with it:
With a smile in the corner of her lips, she observed wind rising on the hillside. It was a good day, she thought to herself. A good day for absolutions and goodbyes and fresh beginnings. It was a time of migration and growing into new things. So, she let go of the brittle yellowed pages and their sun-bleached sentences, comitting to memory the last written words of a person now long gone. Maybe she will tell their story one day, maybe not. Time will take her by the hand and show her all the things she needed to survive.
"Let's meet again someday by the creek.
You will know which one.
